Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to CannectedU!
By accessing, using, enrolling in, or participating in any aspect of CannectedU’s membership program, website, services, content, coaching sessions, resources, or community spaces (collectively referred to as the "Services"), you are entering into a binding legal agreement with CannectedU (“we,” “our,” “us”).
By engaging with the Services in any manner, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as well as our Privacy Policy, and any additional guidelines or rules we may post or communicate in connection with specific Services (collectively referred to as the “Agreement”). If you do not agree to all of the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement, you must not access, use, enroll in, or participate in any CannectedU Services.
Your continued use of CannectedU constitutes your ongoing acceptance of this Agreement, including any future modifications we may make. We reserve the right to update or revise these Terms and Conditions at any time, at our sole discretion. When we make updates, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of the Terms and Conditions. It is your responsibility to review the Terms periodically to stay informed about any changes. Continued use of CannectedU after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the revised Agreement.
CannectedU is designed for individuals who are legally able to enter into binding contracts under applicable law. If you do not meet these eligibility requirements, or if at any time you do not accept or agree with the Terms and Conditions, you must immediately discontinue use of the Services.
We are committed to offering a membership experience that supports your journey with clarity, empowerment, and transparency—and part of that commitment is making sure the foundation of our relationship is clear from the start. If you ever have questions about these Terms, feel free to reach out to our support team for clarification.
Modification of Terms
CannectedU is committed to evolving alongside our members, our services, and the cannabis industry itself. To support that growth—and to ensure clarity and protection for all parties—we reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify, update, or revise these Terms and Conditions at any time.
We may make changes to reflect updates in our services, changes in applicable laws or regulations, improvements to the membership experience, or for any other reason we deem necessary. Whenever changes are made, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this Terms and Conditions page, and may, at our discretion, provide additional notice through email or through a notification within the Services.
It is your responsibility to review the Terms and Conditions periodically to stay informed about any updates.
Your continued use of CannectedU’s Services after any modifications are posted constitutes your full and binding acceptance of the updated Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree to the modified Terms and Conditions, you must immediately discontinue use of the Services. Your continued engagement signifies that you understand, accept, and agree to be bound by any changes we make.
We believe in growth, clarity, and forward momentum—and we want you to be fully equipped and informed as we continue building this ecosystem together.
Eligibility
CannectedU is a platform built for serious entrepreneurs who are ready to take action—and we’re committed to maintaining a space that reflects that standard.
By accessing, enrolling in, or using CannectedU’s Services, you represent and warrant that you meet all of the following eligibility requirements:
- Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years of age, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater.
- Legal Capacity: You must have the full power and authority to enter into a binding contract under applicable law.
- Compliance with Laws: You must not be prohibited, restricted, or otherwise barred from accessing cannabis-related educational content, entrepreneurship resources, or online learning platforms under the laws of your country, state, or jurisdiction.
- No Prohibited Use: You may not access or use CannectedU if doing so would violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.
- Personal Use: You agree that you are accessing CannectedU solely for your personal use, professional development, and entrepreneurial growth, and not on behalf of any competitor or for any unauthorized commercial purpose.
By using CannectedU, you affirm that you meet all eligibility requirements and that any information you provide is truthful, accurate, and complete.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse, suspend, or terminate your access to the Services if we have reason to believe that you do not meet these requirements or have otherwise violated the Terms and Conditions.
CannectedU is about building real businesses, creating real change, and taking real ownership. If you’re here with that spirit, you're exactly where you're meant to be.
Membership Terms
CannectedU is a membership-based platform designed to guide, support, and empower you on your cannabis entrepreneurship journey.
When you enroll in a CannectedU membership, you agree to the following membership terms:
- Membership Access
Your CannectedU membership grants you access to the resources, content, community spaces, and experiences associated with your selected membership plan, subject to these Terms and Conditions. Access is personal, non-transferable, and intended solely for your individual use.
- Billing and Renewal
CannectedU memberships are offered on a recurring subscription basis (e.g., monthly, quarterly, annual), as specified at the time of your enrollment.
Unless you cancel in accordance with our Cancellation Policy, your membership will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle at the then-current rate. By enrolling, you authorize CannectedU to charge the payment method on file for all applicable subscription fees and any applicable taxes at each renewal period.
- Cancellation
You have the right to cancel your membership at any time.
If you cancel, your access to the Services will continue through the end of your current paid billing cycle. After that, your membership will not renew, and you will not be charged again.
Please note that we do not offer partial refunds or credits for any unused time remaining in your current subscription period, except where required by law.
- Changes to Membership Plans or Pricing
CannectedU reserves the right to modify, upgrade, downgrade, discontinue, or change membership offerings, features, or pricing at any time.
If pricing changes affect your active membership, we will provide reasonable notice, and the changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. Continued use of the Services after a pricing or membership plan change goes into effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
- Failed Payments and Account Suspension
If a payment is declined, expired, or otherwise cannot be processed, we may attempt to reprocess the charge.
If payment remains unsuccessful, CannectedU reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services until payment issues are resolved.
We designed CannectedU to move with you—not against you.
That means flexible membership terms, clear communication, and full transparency every step of the way.
Account Responsibility
When you create an account with CannectedU, you’re stepping into a space built on trust, ownership, and integrity. To keep our ecosystem strong, it’s important that each member honors their account responsibilities.
By enrolling and creating an account with CannectedU, you agree to the following:
- Accuracy of Information
You represent and warrant that all information you provide during registration and throughout your use of the Services is accurate, complete, and current. You are responsible for updating your information as needed to keep it accurate and current.
- Account Security

- Personal Use Only
Your CannectedU account is intended for your personal use only.
Sharing your account credentials or allowing others to access the Services through your account is strictly prohibited and may result in the suspension or termination of your membership without refund.
- Responsibility for Actions
You are fully responsible for all activity conducted under your account, whether or not authorized by you.
This includes any actions taken by anyone who accesses the Services using your login credentials. If you allow someone else to use your account (even unintentionally), you assume full responsibility for their behavior and any consequences that follow.
- One Account Policy
Each member is permitted to maintain only one active account at a time unless expressly authorized by CannectedU. Creating multiple accounts to access Services, exploit promotions, or circumvent restrictions is a violation of these Terms and Conditions.
Your account is part of your foundation here. We’re committed to protecting it—and to helping you build everything that comes next.
Prohibited Activities

By honoring these standards, you help keep this ecosystem strong for everyone who steps into it.
Disclaimer of Warranties
CannectedU is here to equip you, empower you, and help you move forward—but like any journey, results are shaped by the energy, actions, and choices you bring to it.
To make sure we're clear:
- Services Provided “As Is” and “As Available”
CannectedU provides all Services—including content, resources, coaching, community spaces, programs, and tools—on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
We do not make, and expressly disclaim, any warranties, representations, or guarantees of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, title, accuracy, or reliability.
While we are deeply committed to providing you with high-quality resources, we do not guarantee that the Services will always be uninterrupted, timely, secure, error-free, or that defects will be corrected.
- No Guarantees of Results
CannectedU is designed to support your personal and professional development as an entrepreneur. However, you understand and agree that your success depends entirely on your own efforts, actions, commitment, and circumstances.
CannectedU does not guarantee any specific outcomes, business results, financial success, licensing approvals, or other achievements as a result of participating in the membership or using the Services.
Examples, testimonials, case studies, and success stories shared by CannectedU or its members are meant to inspire—not guarantee—any specific outcome. Every entrepreneur’s results depend on their unique efforts, choices, and circumstances.
- User Responsibility
You assume full responsibility for your use of the Services.
You acknowledge and agree that any decisions you make, and any actions you take based on information or resources provided by CannectedU, are made voluntarily and at your own risk.
We encourage you to consult your own legal, financial, tax, or regulatory advisors when making important decisions related to your entrepreneurial journey.
- External Content and Links
From time to time, CannectedU may reference or link to third-party websites, resources, or services. These are provided for your convenience only.
CannectedU does not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the content, practices, or availability of any third-party websites or services, and your use of them is entirely at your own risk.
Limitation of Liability
We’re here to equip you with knowledge, strategy, and a stronger foundation for your journey.
Because every path is different—and every choice is personal—it’s important to clearly outline the boundaries of our role and responsibility.
- Limitation on Damages
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CannectedU—including its owners, employees, affiliates, contractors, instructors, representatives, licensors, and partners—shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, business opportunities, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your access to, use of, or inability to access or use the Services.
This limitation applies regardless of the form of action, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, statute, or otherwise.
- Cap on Direct Damages
In any case, CannectedU’s total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be limited to the greater of:
- The amount you paid to CannectedU in the six (6) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or
- Fifty dollars ($50.00 USD).
- Assumption of Risk
You acknowledge and agree that participation in the cannabis industry—and entrepreneurship in general—carries inherent risks.
By using CannectedU’s Services, you voluntarily assume full responsibility for any outcomes, challenges, or losses that may arise in connection with your actions, decisions, or business activities.
- Applicability of Limitations
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities.
Where required by law, parts of these limitations may not apply to you—but in such cases, they shall apply to the maximum extent permitted.
We’re committed to walking with you—but your journey, your risks, and your results belong to you.
That’s part of what makes them yours to own—and yours to build.
User-Generated Content
CannectedU was built to be more than a library of information—it’s a living, evolving community of entrepreneurs.
When you engage with CannectedU’s community spaces, post content, share ideas, or participate in discussions, you help create a space that belongs to all of us.
To keep this space safe, respectful, and protected, here’s how user-generated content is handled:
- Your Responsibility for Your Content
You are solely responsible for any content you post, upload, share, submit, or otherwise make available through CannectedU’s Services, including but not limited to comments, questions, discussions, feedback, testimonials, profile information, or other contributions ("User Content").
By submitting User Content, you represent and warrant that:
- You own or control all rights to the User Content;
- Your User Content does not violate any laws, regulations, or third-party rights (including copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights);
- Your User Content complies with CannectedU’s Terms and Community Guidelines.
You assume all risk associated with your User Content, including anyone’s reliance on its accuracy, completeness, or usefulness.
- Rights You Grant to CannectedU
By posting or submitting User Content to CannectedU, you grant us a worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, display, and perform such User Content in connection with operating and promoting CannectedU and its Services.
This license allows us, for example, to showcase community discussions, share testimonials, or highlight member achievements (with appropriate discretion and respect for context).
You retain ownership of your User Content—you are simply giving CannectedU permission to use it in ways that help serve and inspire the broader community.
- No Obligation to Monitor
While we reserve the right to review, monitor, edit, or remove User Content at our discretion, we are under no obligation to do so.
We are not responsible for any User Content posted by members or third parties, and we do not endorse any opinions or advice expressed by users.
- Removal of Content
CannectedU reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to remove or disable access to any User Content that we believe violates these Terms, infringes on intellectual property rights, threatens the safety of our community, or is otherwise objectionable.
Your voice matters here—and we’re proud to make space for it.
By sharing responsibly, you help keep CannectedU a place where real ideas, real growth, and real connections can thrive.
Community Guidelines
CannectedU isn’t just a platform—it’s a community.
We built this space for serious entrepreneurs who are committed to learning, building, and growing with integrity. To protect the spirit of what we’re creating here, we ask that every member honors these simple, non-negotiable guidelines.
By participating in CannectedU’s community spaces (including forums, comments, live sessions, group coaching, messaging, or any other interactive features), you agree to:
- Respect Every Member
- Treat others with kindness, professionalism, and respect.
- Support diverse experiences, perspectives, and voices within the community.
- Listen thoughtfully, contribute constructively, and uplift others whenever possible.
- Share Responsibly
- Share only information, feedback, and contributions that are helpful, relevant, and appropriate.
- Avoid sharing content that is defamatory, harassing, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate.
- Protect the confidentiality of sensitive information shared within the community. What’s shared in this space should stay in this space unless given clear permission.
- Stay On Mission
- Keep discussions and contributions aligned with the goals of entrepreneurship, business growth, personal development, and cannabis industry education.
- Refrain from self-promotion, unsolicited marketing, spamming, or recruiting members into outside businesses, programs, or offers without express permission.
- Protect Intellectual Property
- Do not copy, reproduce, or repurpose content shared by CannectedU or other members without permission.
- Respect the creative and intellectual work of others, just as you would want your own work respected.
- Maintain Professionalism
- Engage in disagreements respectfully if they arise—keep the focus on improving ideas, not criticizing people.
- Foster a space where everyone feels safe to ask questions, share insights, and take bold steps forward.
Enforcement:
CannectedU reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to monitor, moderate, or remove any content or participants that violate these Community Guidelines.
We may suspend or terminate membership privileges (without refund) if a member’s behavior compromises the safety, integrity, or purpose of the community.
We’re building a space where serious entrepreneurs can connect, grow, and thrive.
Your commitment to moving with respect, integrity, and purpose helps make that possible—for yourself and for everyone else coming up behind you.
Educational Purposes Only
CannectedU was created to educate, equip, and empower aspiring cannabis entrepreneurs through knowledge, strategy, and community.
The resources we provide are built to inform and guide your journey—but they are not a substitute for professional advice.
By participating in CannectedU’s Services, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Information Provided Is Educational
All content, coaching, courses, templates, discussions, resources, and materials available through CannectedU are offered solely for general informational and educational purposes.
Nothing provided by CannectedU should be construed as legal advice, financial advice, tax advice, investment advice, compliance guarantees, or professional consulting.
- No Professional Relationship Created
Your participation in CannectedU does not create an attorney-client, accountant-client, consultant-client, fiduciary, or other professional advisory relationship between you and CannectedU, its instructors, employees, contractors, or representatives.
- Independent Judgment Required
You understand that you are solely responsible for how you interpret, apply, and act upon any information obtained through CannectedU’s Services.
You should not rely solely on the content provided through CannectedU to make important legal, financial, tax, regulatory, or business decisions.
You agree to seek the advice of qualified professionals (such as attorneys, accountants, compliance consultants, or financial advisors) before making decisions that could have significant personal or business consequences.
- No Regulatory Endorsement
CannectedU does not guarantee that any information, strategies, or educational content provided will ensure compliance with local, state, federal, or international cannabis laws, licensing requirements, or business regulations.
It is your sole responsibility to ensure that your actions, businesses, and decisions comply with all applicable laws and requirements in your jurisdiction.
We’re here to light the way—but you’re still steering the ship.
When it’s time for legal, tax, or business-critical decisions, make sure you have the right professional advisors in your corner.
Regulatory and Legal Compliance
CannectedU was designed to support your growth as an entrepreneur in the cannabis industry—but it’s important to recognize that cannabis laws vary widely, and they are constantly evolving.
You are solely responsible for understanding and complying with the laws and regulations that apply to you.
By using CannectedU’s Services, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- Compliance Is Your Responsibility
You are responsible for researching, understanding, and complying with all local, state, federal, tribal, and international laws, rules, licensing requirements, and regulations that may apply to your cannabis-related activities, business operations, or entrepreneurial endeavors.
CannectedU does not—and cannot—guarantee that your participation in the membership, or application of the information provided, will comply with the specific laws of your jurisdiction.
- No Legal Representation or Guarantees
CannectedU is not a law firm, compliance agency, government authority, or regulatory advisor.
Nothing contained within CannectedU’s content, courses, resources, discussions, or coaching should be interpreted as a guarantee, certification, or representation that any particular action or business plan is legal, compliant, or permitted in your location.
- Risk of Regulatory Changes
You acknowledge that cannabis laws, regulations, and enforcement practices may change at any time and may vary significantly by jurisdiction.
You agree that CannectedU is not responsible for informing you of legal updates or changes in the law, and that it is your ongoing responsibility to stay informed about applicable legal developments that may impact your business.
- Personal and Business Risk
Engaging in cannabis-related activities or businesses carries inherent legal and regulatory risks, even where such activities are permitted under certain laws.
By participating in CannectedU, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with your participation in the cannabis industry, including but not limited to risks of non-compliance, fines, penalties, license denials, enforcement actions, or business interruptions.
We’re here to help you build with confidence and strategy—and part of that is encouraging you to know your local laws, protect your business, and move forward with full ownership of your journey.
Payment Terms
At CannectedU, we believe in clear, simple, and transparent payment practices—because your focus should be on building your future, not worrying about fine print.
By enrolling in CannectedU’s Services, you agree to the following payment terms:
- Membership Fees
Access to CannectedU requires the payment of recurring membership fees, as detailed at the time of enrollment.
All fees are stated in U.S. dollars (USD) and must be paid in U.S. dollars unless otherwise specified.
Membership fees are billed on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly, quarterly, annually) according to the billing cycle you select when you sign up.
You authorize CannectedU (or its third-party payment processor) to automatically charge your chosen payment method for all applicable fees, plus any applicable taxes, at the beginning of each billing cycle.
- Taxes
You are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or governmental fees associated with your purchase.
If CannectedU is required to collect sales tax or other taxes based on your location, those amounts will be added to your total charges.
- Payment Information
You agree to maintain valid, up-to-date payment information in your account at all times.
If your payment method fails or your account becomes past due, we may suspend or terminate your access to the Services until payment is successfully processed.
We reserve the right to update payment methods automatically using information provided by your issuing bank or payment service provider in order to prevent service interruptions.
- Refund Policy
All membership fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
If you cancel your membership, you will retain access to the Services through the end of your current paid billing period, but no partial refunds or credits will be issued for unused time.
- Failed Payments
If a payment attempt is declined, we may attempt to reprocess the charge.
If subsequent attempts fail, CannectedU reserves the right to terminate or suspend your membership access without further notice.
You remain responsible for any outstanding amounts owed, even if your access to the Services is suspended or terminated.
- Promotional Offers
If you enroll under a promotional offer, discount, or special rate, the terms of that offer will apply for the duration specified.
After the promotional period ends, your membership will renew at CannectedU’s then-current standard rate unless otherwise stated.
We keep payments simple, transparent, and consistent—so you can stay focused on building what you came here to build.
Payment Options and Flex Pay Terms
At CannectedU, we want to make membership access as flexible as possible—but flexibility comes with clear terms.
By purchasing access to CannectedU’s Services, you acknowledge and agree to the following payment option terms:
- Accepted Payment Methods
CannectedU accepts a variety of secure payment methods, including:
- Major credit and debit cards (processed through secure payment gateways)
- Apple Pay
- Google Pay
- Afterpay
- Klarna
Availability of specific payment methods may vary based on your location, device, or browser settings.
- Afterpay and Klarna Flex Pay Options
CannectedU offers installment payment options ("Flex Pay") through third-party providers Afterpay and Klarna, subject to the following conditions:
- Third-Party Approval Required:
Afterpay and Klarna independently determine whether you qualify for Flex Pay based on their own approval criteria.
CannectedU has no control over their approval decisions or the terms they offer.
- Separate Agreement:
If you choose Afterpay or Klarna at checkout, your payment terms—including installment schedules, interest rates (if applicable), and payment obligations—are governed by your separate agreement with Afterpay or Klarna.
CannectedU is not responsible for your financing terms or obligations under that agreement.
- Selection Required at Checkout:
To use Flex Pay, you must actively select Afterpay or Klarna as your payment method during checkout.
If you select "Card" or any other standard payment option instead, you will be charged the full payment amount immediately in a single transaction.
No refunds, credits, or retroactive payment plan changes will be provided if you mistakenly select a standard payment option.
- Important Payment Conditions
- No Retroactive Changes:
Once a payment is processed using a selected method, CannectedU cannot retroactively change the payment method, convert a full payment to a Flex Pay plan, or issue refunds to allow a switch to Afterpay or Klarna.
- Transaction Processing:
Apple Pay and Google Pay transactions are processed as full immediate payments unless otherwise specified at checkout.
- Responsibility for Payment Plans:
If you select Afterpay or Klarna, you are solely responsible for fulfilling all terms of your separate agreement with them.
Any issues regarding installment billing, late fees, or account management must be resolved directly with Afterpay or Klarna.
- Availability Disclaimer:
While CannectedU offers access to third-party payment options, we cannot guarantee that Afterpay, Klarna, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or other providers will always be available, function without error, or approve all applicants.
We make flexible payment options available—but it’s up to you to choose the right checkout method, and it’s up to the third-party providers to approve, manage, and enforce your installment plans.
Cancellation and Termination Policy
At CannectedU, we believe in giving you full control over your membership—and in keeping our commitments clear on both sides.
Here’s what you need to know about cancellations and terminations:
- Cancellation by You
You may cancel your CannectedU membership at any time by following the cancellation instructions provided within your account settings or by contacting our support team at [support email/contact info].
When you cancel:
- Your membership will remain active through the end of your current paid billing period.
- Your account will not renew after your current subscription term expires.
- You will not be charged again, but no refunds or credits will be issued for any remaining time in your current subscription period, unless required by law.
Please ensure you complete your cancellation request before your next billing date to avoid future charges.
- Termination or Suspension by CannectedU
CannectedU reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to suspend, deactivate, or terminate your access to the Services at any time, without refund, if we believe that:
- You have violated these Terms and Conditions or any Community Guidelines;
- Your conduct is harmful to other members, CannectedU, or our broader community;
- Your actions pose a legal, financial, or reputational risk to CannectedU;
- Or if continued access is not in the best interest of the CannectedU community.
We may also terminate or suspend the Services as a whole, in which case reasonable notice will be provided when practicable.
- Effect of Cancellation or Termination
Upon cancellation or termination:
- Your right to access the Services will end at the conclusion of your current paid billing period or immediately if terminated for cause.
- Certain obligations under these Terms and Conditions—including but not limited to intellectual property rights, payment obligations, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification—will survive the end of your membership.
You’re always in control of your membership—and we’re committed to maintaining a safe, supportive space where serious entrepreneurs can grow.
Indemnification
At CannectedU, we take responsibility for the space and tools we create—but we can’t take responsibility for the choices, actions, or outcomes that arise from how members apply what they learn.
To protect our community, our team, and our mission, we ask that members agree to the following:
By using CannectedU’s Services, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CannectedU, its owners, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, and partners (collectively, the “CannectedU Parties”) from and against any and all claims, demands, disputes, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, and legal fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to:
- Your access to, use of, or participation in the Services;
- Your violation of these Terms and Conditions, Community Guidelines, or any other CannectedU policies;
- Your User Content or any content you submit, post, share, or otherwise make available through the Services;
- Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or publicity rights;
- Your violation of any applicable laws, rules, or regulations in connection with your actions or business activities;
- Any claims that your business activities, content, or conduct caused harm, damages, or losses to a third party.
- Scope of Defense and Cooperation
You agree to cooperate fully with CannectedU in the defense of any claim subject to indemnification.
CannectedU reserves the right, at your expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter for which you are required to indemnify CannectedU, and you agree not to settle any matter without CannectedU’s prior written consent.
We take care of the platform so you can focus on building—and part of that partnership means taking full ownership of your journey and your choices.
Force Majeure
At CannectedU, we’re committed to showing up consistently and delivering value—but sometimes life brings events that are simply outside of anyone’s control.
CannectedU shall not be held liable or responsible for any delay, disruption, interruption, or failure to perform any obligation under these Terms and Conditions if such delay or failure results from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Acts of God (such as natural disasters, floods, fires, earthquakes, hurricanes, or storms);
- Acts of government (such as new regulations, changes in law, lockdowns, or cannabis industry restrictions);
- Acts of war, terrorism, civil unrest, or insurrection;
- Labor shortages, strikes, or other industrial disturbances;
- Failures or interruptions of utilities, internet service providers, telecommunications networks, hosting providers, or other infrastructure critical to providing the Services;
- Pandemics, epidemics, public health emergencies, or travel restrictions;
- Any other event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control.
In the event that a Force Majeure situation occurs, CannectedU will make commercially reasonable efforts to minimize the disruption and to resume Services as soon as reasonably possible.
However, CannectedU shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by such events.
Some things are outside of anyone’s control—but our commitment to supporting your growth remains steady through it all.
Third-Party Services and Links
CannectedU is designed to equip you with tools, knowledge, and connections that support your growth.
As part of your experience, you may encounter references to, integrations with, or links to third-party websites, services, platforms, or resources ("Third-Party Services").
Here’s what you need to know:
- Independent Services
Third-Party Services are not operated, owned, or controlled by CannectedU.
We provide access to these resources solely as a convenience to you, and your interactions with any third-party websites, platforms, or services are entirely at your own risk and governed by those third parties’ own terms of use and privacy policies.
We encourage you to review the terms and privacy practices of any Third-Party Services before engaging with them.
- No Endorsement or Responsibility
A link to or reference to a Third-Party Service does not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or approval by CannectedU.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, quality, availability, or reliability of any Third-Party Services, and we are not responsible for any damage, loss, or issues arising from your use of or reliance on them.
CannectedU expressly disclaims all liability for any content, products, services, practices, or actions of any third party.
- Third-Party Tools or Features
From time to time, CannectedU may offer features that integrate with or rely on third-party tools (such as payment processors, scheduling platforms, or analytics services).
Your use of these tools is subject to the third party’s terms, and CannectedU is not responsible for how those third parties handle your data or transactions.
We sometimes point you toward helpful resources—but anything outside of CannectedU’s platform is beyond our control.
We trust you to engage thoughtfully and make the best choices for your journey.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
At CannectedU, we believe in clarity—not just in business, but also in setting expectations if legal issues ever arise.
This section explains which laws apply to our relationship and how any disputes will be handled.
- Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions, your use of CannectedU’s Services, and any related disputes shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
You agree that the laws of Colorado will govern any issues relating to the interpretation, validity, enforcement, or breach of this Agreement, regardless of where you are located or access CannectedU from.
- Jurisdiction and Venue
You agree that any legal action, claim, or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of CannectedU shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Denver County, Colorado.
You consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts and waive any objection based on inconvenient forum or jurisdiction.
- Waiver of Jury Trial
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you waive your right to a jury trial in any legal proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of CannectedU.
We’re here to move with clarity, fairness, and accountability—and if a legal matter ever does come up, we’ll handle it under clear rules and in the right place.
Dispute Resolution and Arbitration
At CannectedU, we believe in solving problems respectfully, efficiently, and with as little disruption as possible.
If a disagreement arises, this section explains how we’ll work to resolve it fairly and privately.
- Informal Resolution First
Before initiating any formal legal action, you agree to first contact CannectedU at [email protected] and provide a brief written description of your dispute, including your contact information and a proposed resolution.
Both you and CannectedU agree to use good-faith efforts to resolve the dispute informally within thirty (30) days after receipt of notice.
Only if informal resolution fails may either party proceed to formal dispute resolution as described below.
- Binding Arbitration
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, you and CannectedU agree to resolve any and all disputes, claims, or controversies arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Services, or the relationship between us through binding individual arbitration, rather than in court.
- Arbitration Rules: The arbitration will be conducted under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA) applicable to consumer disputes, unless we agree otherwise.
- Arbitrator's Authority: The arbitrator shall have exclusive authority to resolve any disputes relating to the interpretation, applicability, enforceability, or formation of this agreement to arbitrate, including any claim that all or part of this agreement is void or voidable.
- Location: The arbitration shall take place in Denver County, Colorado, unless you and CannectedU agree to conduct it virtually or in another mutually agreed location.
- Costs: Each party will bear its own arbitration costs and attorneys' fees unless the arbitrator awards otherwise under applicable law.
- No Class Actions
You and CannectedU agree that any arbitration shall be conducted only on an individual basis and not as a class, collective, or representative action.
The arbitrator may not consolidate the claims of more than one person or preside over any form of class or representative proceeding.
You waive any right to bring or participate in a class action, collective action, or private attorney general action related to any claim against CannectedU.
- Limited Exceptions
Either party may bring an individual action in small claims court if the claim qualifies.
Either party may also seek injunctive or equitable relief in a court of proper jurisdiction to prevent unauthorized use or abuse of the Services or intellectual property infringement.
We believe disagreements can be handled respectfully, efficiently, and privately—so we can stay focused on building, not battling.
Severability
At CannectedU, we believe in strength through clarity—and that includes the structure of our Terms.
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable for any reason by a court of competent jurisdiction, then that specific provision shall be deemed severable from the remaining Terms.
The invalidity or unenforceability of any one part will not affect the validity or enforceability of the rest of the Terms, which shall continue in full force and effect.
Whenever possible, any invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while still preserving its original intent.
If one piece falls away, the rest still stands strong—and so does our commitment to clarity and fairness.
Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions, along with our Privacy Policy and any additional guidelines or policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and CannectedU regarding your use of the Services.
They supersede any prior or contemporaneous understandings, communications, discussions, or agreements, whether oral or written, relating to the subject matter hereof.
No oral statements, promises, or representations that are not expressly stated in these Terms and Conditions are binding on CannectedU.
This is our full understanding—clear, complete, and designed to move us forward together, on the same page.
No Guarantee of Results
At CannectedU, we’re here to provide you with tools, knowledge, support, and strategy to help you build your path forward.

- Legal compliance or regulatory approvals
- Personal achievement, career growth, or business expansion
Success stories, testimonials, case studies, strategies, and examples shared within CannectedU are real experiences from real entrepreneurs. While they showcase what is possible with dedication and action, they are not a promise or guarantee of your personal results.
- Your Responsibility
You agree that your participation in CannectedU is voluntary and that you are solely responsible for your own actions, decisions, and outcomes.
You further agree that CannectedU, its instructors, coaches, affiliates, and representatives are not responsible or liable for your success, failures, or business results in any capacity.
